About Gamepad Tester Pro

A simple place to test controllers in your browser and learn what the results mean.

Last updated September 12, 2026

Gamepad Tester Pro started as a practical answer to a common problem. People plug in a gamepad, something feels off, and they want a clear way to check buttons, sticks, triggers, and rumble without installing a heavy desktop app first.

What we build

We build browser based diagnostics for gamepads and specialty controllers. You can run a full input check, focus on stick drift, explore deadzones, test vibration when the browser supports it, and open platform focused pages for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC connection issues.

How testing works

Modern browsers can talk to many controllers through the Gamepad API. After you connect a pad and press a button, the page can show live values. That keeps your input on your device during normal testing and makes the tools easy to open on a desktop browser.

What we are careful about

We try to write clear guidance instead of empty keyword pages. We also label limits honestly. Browser rumble is not the same as every native game haptic. Software calibration helpers on this site are for visualization, not secret firmware rewrites. The XInput page explains that browsers expose a Gamepad API view, not the Windows XInput DLL itself.

Who it is for

Players who want a quick sanity check. People repairing or cleaning a controller. Developers who need a raw look at what the browser reports. Anyone troubleshooting a pad that will not show up on PC.
